 | Definite con for me (fedex express) are the slow as hell trucks that take forever to accelerate. We have these trucks by izuzu called reaches that are dangerously slow. I wish they would take the governors off our trucks. Whats the difference if we get in a wreck at 65 (our top speed) or 75? Pretty sure we will be dead if not paralyzed forever. | CTHOMPSON man it had taken me like a whole week finally filled out me fed ex application for cdl division . let me ask you this though, if we do regular fed ex driver after we load our truck in the morning ,we drop off all our packages do we have to go back to fed ex base and reload van ?  | The fedex contractor, said I need D.O.T card to work for fedex / him. Anyhow, he said I had to pay for it. It's like $100.00 ouch and I'm low on funds right now. Is that normal for employee to pay that? Cuz when I was in the office yesterday. Filling out the app. On there computer, the lady in the office said the contractor was responsible for that, And I don't know if it's stipulation because I'm coming from United States Post Office rural carrier/ rca and I'm only going to get one week of training half pay.
